Hello there! I am David, the administrator of “My Keto Journey.” It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

About five years ago, I embarked on a transformative path—the ketogenic and fasting way of life. The initial three years were nothing short of remarkable. I shed seventy pounds, successfully reversed my type 2 diabetes, and bid farewell to metformin. It was an incredible victory for my health, both physically and metabolically. I embraced fasting, sometimes going up to 30 hours without a meal, sticking to just one hearty meal a day.

TWIST AND TURNS

However, life has its twists and turns, and I faced an unforeseen challenge—a significant industrial accident. Unfortunately, this led me to drift back into my old habits, abandoning the ketogenic and fasting lifestyle. The consequences were undeniable—I regained most of the lost weight, and my blood glucose levels soared.

This setback, while disheartening, served as a powerful reminder. It underscored the effectiveness of the keto and fasting lifestyle. Undeterred, I have rekindled my commitment to this transformative journey. I have managed to shed twenty pounds, and my A1c levels have seen improvement, though not yet back to my previous triumphs.
